  • satallite businesses promote recycling: clothes, paper, plastics, wood and ink cartridges
  • changed all light bulbs for low energy ones
  • bulb planting scheme at St Edmund's church
  • exploring use of pv and geothermal for Turner Community Hall and Stable Centre cafe.

Reaching out:

  • Bee-Aid has proved to be an extenvie tool in drawing non-church community groups to work with the church in environmental concerns
  • fair trade rep holds regular stalls in church and at local market
  • sharing experiences wider in local Area Assembly
  • work with local primary school in promoting ecological issues
  • involved in setting up and promoting a local market selling local products alongside Allotment Association.
